REVEREND PATRICK MOSES

The Reverend Patrick D. Moses accepted the call to shepherd the awesome people of First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) on October 2, 2016, officially assuming the pulpit on November 6, 2016.


Previously, Rev. Moses served as Pastor of Eastland Street Baptist Church. A native of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Rev. Moses retired after nearly 32 years of Federal service, where he served as the Assistant Director for Field Operations of the Federal Protective Service (FPS), the arm of the United States Department of Homeland Security that provides law enforcement, protective investigation and intelligence and security for Federal facilities across 50 states and its Territories. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Director in the Washington DC National Capital Region and Incident Commander for the 56th Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama.


Rev. Moses ran in the Special General Election for the U.S. House of Representatives, Texas District 6 on May 1, 2021.


Rev. Moses has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (cum laude) and a Master’s in Public Administration from Southern University and Texas A & M College, respectively. He received his Master of Divinity from Texas Christian University, Brite Divinity School (BDS) and is now at the proposal stage in completing his Doctorate of Ministry at BDS.


He has been active in various professional and not-for-profit organizations serving in the role of President of the North Texas Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration and the Board of Directors of the Tarrant Area Food Bank, Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently serving as the President of the Dover Heights Homeowners Association. Previously, he served as the Chairs of the Dallas Fort Worth Federal Executive Board and Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex Combined Federal Campaign Local Federal Coordinating Committee, raising over $3.1M that impacted deserving constituents through various non-profit charities. He is married to First Lady Ronda E. Moses who serves as a licensed Case Manager-Social Worker for Southwestern Health Resources. Mrs. Moses holds a Licensed Bachelor’s in Social Work, Master’s in Medical Social Work and a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator certification.

Prayer is the key to all we do at First Missionary Baptist Church. We offer a number of different services to ensure you can always worship with the community. Our schedule includes weekly prayer, Bible study, and more. Learn more and plan your visit.

OUR COMMUNITY

Our church is more than just Sunday prayers. There’s a whole lot happening with our community throughout the week. We hold frequent gatherings and events, with special get togethers for families, kids and new members.
